It says the code is good for bookings made via the Tablet app.
However I just tried making a $400+ hotel booking on Expedia.com from my computer and the code worked perfectly.
Just select a hotel and a room and above the payment info click on “Enter a coupon or promotion code” and enter the code that you got via text message.

sure did, there is no drop down part or area to enter a code – working off desktop
is the coupon box AFTER you enter your CC info and hit “Complete Booking”?
I think there are some limitations to the coupon, i clicked around and some hotels permit the use of the coupon and some dont at the payment page…should be noted in the post.
Is the code only available to received today but eligible to book another day, or must the code also be redeemed today?

fyi – you have to “pay now”. many (mine) hotel bookings are refunndale up til close to the reservation

How long can I use this code for?
Only able to enter a code where you prepay or pay Expedia directly, if payment is made at the hotel when you arrive, there is no option to enter a code…
In regards to cancellation, look for the Non-Refundable/Free to Cancel displayed when booking to know whether it’s cancelable.
Expedia just cancled my trip bc i didnt pay with a discover card!!!

Call and complain.
Just got off the phone with them (45 minutes l8r) They offered me $200 credit towards my discover card (which I dont have). Issue is they wont reinstate my original booking! the price has gone up significantly. anything more I can do?
