Beware that although this is still a steal the new Lawnboy’s aren’t the Lawnboy’s of yesterday. The brand name was sold and is just made with the name on a cheap murray quality mower. Quality isn’t the same as it was a couple years ago.

I called them as well. I told them that I would understand had this error been through a third party seller, but I had not expected this from Amazon themselves. I initially tried to have them swap it to a different model, but to no success.

After consulting with his superiors, he offered me a $30 credit to which I accepted.

I do a decent amount of shopping on amazon and theyre great with changing a price, especially I’ve I’ve bought the item before at a lower cost and want it again. They are a class-act company. This was a price mistake and a pretty steep one. Would’ve been nice to get the two i ordered but nothing lost. On a side note, pretty disgusted with poster “Very Disappointed”. Pathetic sense of entitlement. You, and evil like ISIS, are the turd that gives humankind a bad name. Go get happy and rearrange your priorities.

They originally offered me $5 in the chat, I countered with $100 – settled on $60. The front line CSR can’t do more than $20, let him/her know you’ll be okay to wait while they confirm with supervisor. I had the $60 credit before the chat window closed.

he offered 35% off a similar mower so it was 97.50 credit. I said to please just put it into my account as I am not sure what i want to order so he put that amount as a credit on the account for future orders of anything

I got $210 credited back to one of the cards on my account.

I explained that I was originally going to buy three similar lawn mowers from a local retailer that had them on sale for $70 off.

However, due to Amazon’s deal, I didn’t order from the local store and the sale expired, so I effectively lost the $70 savings per mower that I would have had, or $210.
