Perfect! Just what I was looking for!
I bought one of these for my wife and they are BY FAR the best coffee mug out there. Her coffee stays hot literally more than 6 hours. However, after a few months (even following the amazon reviews suggestions of soaking in vinegar) the amount of buildup inside the lid (that cannot be opened) is getting a bit gross.
The manufacturer actually discontinued the version I bought and redesigned it to make the cover completely openable, so it can be properly cleaned. The question is, which version is groupon selling?

The groupon does not list the new feature from the new version “Newly designed lid pivots open for easy cleaning”. Also the pics on groupon look more like the old version (the fonts are different on the 2 versions).
Therefore, unless someone can show me something saying this is the new version, I highly recommend spending a bit more on amazon to get the new one.
Looking at the pic more carefully, you can see that this is the old discontinued version that gets nasty buildup inside of the cup lid, since it cannot be completely opened.
Spend a bit more for the new version from Amazon.
