Unfortunately AA/Citi has gutted this great program and no longer offers international destinations at the discounted rate.  Apparently from now on only domestic cities will be offered.  You can always call up the number on the back of your credit card to complain/threaten to cancel over the elimination of the discounted international destinations if you’d like them to know how you feel (or if you just want some mileage compensation…)

Q2 Reduced Mileage Awards Linky
Fly to select cities worldwide for 7,500 less miles than American Airlines regularly charges if you have the AAdvantage World Mastercard!

To book these awards just call AA’s AAdvantage desk at 800-882-8880 and reference the award code listed in the above link. You may be able to avoid the $15 phone booking charge by first placing a reservation on hold at aa.com and then calling up AAdvantage to have them reduce the cost of the award by 7,500 miles and ask for the fee to waived since it was originally booked on their website.

Below is a sample list of some of Q2’s valid destinations, origination is allowed from any US48 City.
Open-jaws are permitted
(Note: Some agents will also allow you to originate from any listed city and fly to any US48 city for the discounted rate)

hello Dan,
there is an advertizement to sell airline miles on the site.
If the airlines find out about this, what are the possible consequences. also, are there any legal issues?

Dan/Ctownbochur

@gershon:
It is not illegal to sell miles, ask the mileage buyers directly what the consequences may be in their experience.

gershon

thanks, but it is not like the people who stand to make money from buying my miles can necessarily be trusted. Don’t you have any experiance or general knowledge on the subject

?

What are open jaws?

@?:
e.g.
Depart: LAX-LGA
Return: LGA-BUR
Or
Depart: LAX-LGA
Return: IAD-LAX

Note: I have often used this bonus, and every featured “destination” works as a departure just as well. E.g. Newark airoprt was featured for half a year, I booked discounted mileage tickets to Miami etc… Dont ask the rep, just tell him the route and discount code and it works..

what about a flight from us to us destination with a stop over in canada do u think thatll fly with a reduced mileage rate?

I would like to fly Dallas to Chicago. I noticed that I can fly DFW to Champaign, IL with a stop over in Chicago, IL (my desired destination).

Can I simply get off at ORD and not continue on to Champaign? Or will this cause the rest of my travel (i.e. my return trip) to be void?

If this were to work, how could I depart from ORD rather than Champaign?

Any advice is appreciated.
