I think it is only fair to point out that there is absolutely no mention of any warranty anywhere on the ebay page. You have to be very careful when buying stuff on ebay, if you buy it from a company like newegg or a well known store then you should be okay for the warranty, but if you buy it from an unknown person or from an ebay store (which is what this digjungle seems to be), you probably will not have a manufacturers warranty.

After doing some research, if you buy an apple product from an unauthorized dealer, the warranty is from the date the person selling it bought it, not the date you bought it. (It goes by the serial number). So if these units were bought 10 months ago, you would only get a 2 month warranty. Again, the key here is the seller on ebay makes no mention of any warranty.

That is not true at all.. I purchased a macbook pro from ebay last year and had a problem with it 2 months ago. When I went to the store, they told me I never activated the 1 year warranty so to be technical, I got a 2 year warranty from them as it doesn’t expire for another 10 months
