Update 2: Sodastream got back to me and said that Amazon frustration-free packaging should now come with a UPC sticker. Even if it doesn’t come with one though you can just write down the UPC number as listed on the Amazon page and just write that your unit didn’t come with a paper UPC and it will be honored.
If you want you can also call Sodastream for your own ticket number to confirm you will get your rebate at 800-763-2258.

I purchased one from amazon a couple months back and was able to get the rebate. Amazon supplied me with the upc# (the number under the barcode) for the model I purchased and I wrote it down on my amazon order confirmation that I sent in with the rebate form.

Btw, you can buy the same machine at staples for $79.99, and use the 20% off cleaning and breakroom (included in this week’s store flier or on their website http://www.staples.com/coupons), and pay only $63.99 – $20 rebate = $43.99!
