Register For United MileagePlus Dining And Get 500 Miles
There’s no need to eat out to earn the 500 miles.
Rules:
-Valid for new United MileagePlus Dining members only.
-You must register via link above, create a web login, opt in and remaining opted in to receive emails from MileagePlus Dining with a valid, deliverable email address, and register at least one credit card in your dining account.
-Offer expires July 10, 2014.
-Allow 6–8 weeks for miles to post.
You can also earn 500 miles every time you eat in a participating restaurant within 30 days of registering, up to 2,500 miles. If you are planning on dining out all you need to do is use your registered card to pay for your meal. The Chase Freedom card earns 5 or 5.5 points per dollar for up to $1,500 in restaurant (and Lowe’s spending) through 06/30. The Chase Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card® Card always earns 2.14 points per dollar for all dining and travel purchases and it has no foreign transaction fees.
United miles require activity every 18 months, so this will extend the life of your miles for another 18 months. Chase United Explorer cardholder’s miles never expire for as long as they remain a cardholder.

On a dif topick. Do AA ot BA miles expire? If they do what can I do to save them for when I go to EI in three years with my whole family? Thanks dan your post are very helpful

Is there a minimum that I have to spend to get the additional 2500 miles? There are no kosher places near me on the list, but if I go into a non-kosher restaurant and order a coke, will that get me 500 points?

Dan,I received 2 United Club passes before the anniversary day of my CC card (i was not yet charged a $95 renewal fee) Can I still keep the passes if I choose to close this credit card? Are there ways to wave the fee and keep the card for the second year for free? Thank you!
Not clear on something. If I create a new profile with a new email address, can I sneak in a MP account that already is linked to a dining account? Or do I need to use a new MP account number?

Could you just have 5 separate checks, at the same restaurant, on the same day, with the linked card to get the full 2500 miles?

I was thinking the same thing, but it appears some of the restaurants have max monthly benefit limits on the participating restaurant detail page. Like one near my home in Queens says miles will only be earned for one visits/month. Worth looking into the detail.
