@Dan.
Are you posting it because it is a crazy deal, or because it’s a deal of the day?

zack

Is this refurbished???

Dan

@Tommy:
I post things that look like a good deal to me.

This is a good deal if you’re looking for basic computer that will do the trick for anyone looking for that with a decent processor and an optical drive in a package that is relatively lightweight and thin.

@zack:
Brand new.

windows 8. yech

Dan

@sb:
Get used to it, almost everything is 8 now and soon you won’t be able to get anything with 7. Nothing decent at this price point has 7.

You can pay a techie to install Windows 7 for you, probably will set you back $50 or so.

Mike

Comforting to know its not just forums people get blasted for trying to help!

Colorful

Anyone do any research on this model?
@Dan does Apple ever have any decent deals? Especially the new pro laptop?

Wondering

Is there a coupon code or something else to make the price 349? best buy has it listed for 399…?

sb

@Dan: i know. its a sad world. Everyone I know that has windows 8 hates it. I AM the techie that people call lol. The stupid thing about all this is that some computers come with Windows 8, and then they offer Windows 7 as an “Upgrade” for a few dollars more
