Beachwood fan

No Denver destination!

Ari

For which dates is this good for? From when till when?

sam

I think it has something to do with the super bowl because I just booked round trip from nyc to Seattle for $96 as well for those sample dates.

Rikki

Sorry, no such destination! Can someone please explain?

Dan

@Beachwood fan: You can select Denver from the drop down option.

Beachwood fan

@Dan & @Rikki

Change the departure to NYC otherwise it won’t show the Denver Destination

lev

Denver is not a drop down option

Ruben

it doesnt seem like Jet Blue flies to denver from LGA

Anonymous

They need planes in Super Bowl destinations to bring fans to nyc and then back so that’s why cheap flights to these Super Bowl cities.

yuneeq

@sam:

Definitely has something to do with the Superbowl, as it coincides with the same dates. Funny thing is, it Jetbue is only offering these rates departing NYC, must be they need a lot of planes back in Denver and Seattle to shuttle the fans back ‘n forth.

Beachwood fan

@Lev
if you change departure to NYC it’ll show an option for denver!!!!

Adam

Denver is only an option from JFK.

Chaim

Works from JFK not from LGA

BZ

I see to Denver for $48 on 1/30 but the return on 2/2 or 2/3 is $109. Anyone getting cheaper?

SR

Only finding cheap flights on outbound??!!!

Anonymous

To Seattle, will not work as the earliest flight for $48 is friday night

itshappening

I booked it. can always cancel within 24 hrs if need be.

aaron

To Seattle will not work as the earliest flight for $48 is friday night

Anonymous

Superbowl 48 = $48 each way.

Tuli

Works only from New York. Dan??

Devorah

That’s because Jetblue doesnt fly to Denver from LGA, only JFK.

Ck

The return went up in price already

Yeah

@sr looks like it

TL

Works only from New York. Dan??

boeing flyer

inbound is dead only outbound still available denver or seattle

Ay

@Beachwood fan: you gotta do from NYC not LGA

Tee bee

It works all dates from 1/30 till 2/3 going to Denver
Because they have so many flights coming in here to the Super Bowl, Thats why they wanna fill up the planes on the way back

sammy

How can i get a cheep return from denver? $304, is the cheapest return to nyc…

Abe

They raised the flight on the way back to Denver

Itshappening

@dan. Have you ever skied there? How far from Denver is skiing? Any ski deals? Anyone have any idea what kosher food is like??

Mountain Man

@Itshappening. Denver is about an hour from various Ski Resorts. Ski deals are hard to come by mid winter but you can look at various ski resort websites to get lift tickets and rooms for under $100 a night.

For kosher food you can bring it with you or buy it from the east side kosher deli and have it delivered. It can get pricey though.

Also, if you come for the superbowl you can rest assured that you will have the mountain to yourself because everyone else will be glued to a tv 🙂

Custodial Dad

Thank you Dan! I was already booked on the JFK-DEN 01/30 flight with my children so I canceled and rebooked saving several 100’s. That flight was just added btw other day. Also search Costco for ski at Monarch if heading south as we are.

traveler

a lot of $109 at end of February too.

abe

only the way to Denver is 46 way back is way more

Dav

I guess they need flights for the Superbowl!!!

abe

btw NYC TO Chicago IL 94$ the problem is way back is 114$

Avi

return from denver is up to $102

sa

its 157$ y?

sa

sais returen is 109 but when u go on its jumping up to $316 for 2

Dan

Denver is dead.
Seattle still alive round-trip for 96, grab it folks!

Anonymous

@Dan: do they still have to seatle?

a young friend

Where do I find the call back numbers for airlines on the forums?

Planet

Don’t forget that JetBlue gives now double points

itshappening

@mountainman- Which ski resort do you suggest? Any thoughts?
Thanks for info.

Eli

Anyone interested in making a minyan in vail over shabbos? That way you can get skiing in Fri/Sunday without having to commute back and forth to Denver.

Custodial Dad

Live again to Denver

eli

live again to sea too

Sr

Nothing for Seattle!

Chaim

I see the $48 from NY to DEN, but don’t see any $48 flights from DEN to NY on the 2nd

Leah p.

same as chaiim, “I see the $48 from NY to DEN, but don’t see any $48 flights from DEN to NY on the 2nd”

Momofboys

We need airlines to cough up a warm weather deal ;-)!

simcha

@ dan im not getting to denver, what date is this good for

Adina

JFK to SEA is $241, the return flight is $48. Is this deal dead?

Anonymous

@itshappening. It depends on what you’re looking for. Because you’re asking I’m assuming you aren’t an avid skier. That being said I think that Copper Mountain would probably be your best bet as they have great terrain and you can get lift tickets as cheap as $55 with a bogo coupon from a shell gas station. In the same vain Winter Park and Loveland would be good as well.

If you want a resort experience then look at the Vail resort mountains like Keystone, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek and Vail.

don

im seein 48

Moe

Is this still available? Could I book it on any site?

Mendy

Still available? Pls update on nyc den deals. Thanks

MaaYanky

Am I missing something? Is there any reason to go to a colder city just because the tickets are cheap? Is there anything to do there, if you aren’t going for the super bowl?

AC

MaaYanky, are you serious? SEA is typically warmer than the NYC area in the winter, and if you look at the forecast for DEN right now it’s showing 50s and 60s for highs.

Mosh

@Eli: I’d love to join for a minyan. Where in vail are you staying?

thigywingy

Just booked 2 tickets!
HAve 24hrs to cancel right?

chaim

seattle has best kosher pizza shop in the world!

lana

any dates avail in June or may pls?

IsraelGuy

SEA –> JFK seems to be sold out.

Only one flight JFK–>SEA seems to be showing for Jan 30th in and out. GL.

michelle o.

$109. At 1:05 its gone

michelle o.

Return flight is $109. With a kid that $100 does make a difference lol

elana

this is a dead deal. both dates, both destinations. I am sorry to say that I keep looking for air deals (dropping everything i am doing)and find myself sucked into spending time on dead stuff. Did you have better results or am I just being tricked?

Moshe

I’m looking everywhere I don’t see any deal

Dan

@elana:
@Moshe:
Do you really expect a deal like to last?

Follow @DansDeals on Twitter and you’ll be able to get a deal like this if you’re quick.
Otherwise fuggetaboutit.

chaim

Thanks for all the info and giving us the possibility of these deals!

Regarding JFK to DEN – Everytime this has been live, I can see the $48 to Denver, but I haven’t seen any $48 flights back to NY. (and I get the Twitter messages 🙂 )

Dan

@chaim:
They were there when I tweeted.
Gotta be quick!

a dans fan

As soon one plane fills up they add another for the Superbowl then the prices drop again because they have to fill the way back as well

itshappening

@adansfan i dont think thats the case. the flight numbers are the same as the first day of the deal.

Anonymous

@Dan: thanks

Magic

To all those who booked the Denver flight for the weekend: Can you share your plans? What’s fun to do in the Denver area other than the obvious skiing? anyone know a great/affordable snowmobile rental/tour place ? Looks like car rentals start at $7.50/day + taxes and fess which seems insanely cheap.
