    hey dan.
another chance to get out of verizons contract without a cancelation fee.
verizon raised the administrative charge from .70 to .85 . just call the cancelation department and tell them that you want to cancel because of the extra charges and they will let you off!!

izzy, I’m sorry but I know little about the hilton program, and I don’t think I’ve written about the program’s features in the past.
Isn’t there a direct transfer method of transferring hhonors points to AA miles?

Dan there is a direct way however I thought you knew indirect ways of getting better value. for example one way that I do think is better is transfering to amtrak and the amtrak to continental but what I really was hoping is for a way to get more value for AA miles and also how do i find the way of doing things thru LAN? I know you had something about that a while ago and I even got myself a membership in it but now that I need to know it all I dont remember what to do.
What ever happened with deal that was 40,000 points for a ticket to Israel??
    Thank you

There are ways of getting to Israel with as little as 20,000 starwood points, sure.

I just don’t know how to do that with hilton points.

Also for AA I don’t think you’ll be beat the direct transfer method, and don’t forget the Amtrak requires a credit card to transfer out points and has a 25K per year transfer cap.

wait 2 years till you reapply with amex

Some people are able to reapply and get accepted 90 days after a financial review, others aren’t so lucky.

Did you close your accounts, or did AMEX close them for you?
