Cuisinart items are final sale unless defective but if you buy on an AMEX with return protection like the Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express you’ll have 3 months to do a return for coverage of $300 per item. The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card Visa has return protection of $500 per item, but they have a very cumbersome process compared to AMEX.
