Does anyone know anything about a possible strike at heathrow this month

jozel

How would I transfer my starwood points to ba miles? Is there a link or a phone number to call?

OT

Dan- When you went to Israel, how much did that GPS cost you?

OT
Chaim

There is a strike to the best of my knowledge starting Jan. 13 or around there…

chaim

dan does it make sense to tranfer to BA even if i have no plans to fly now , just to get the bonus and then in the future if I want to go to lan or someone else tranfer out of BA? or should I just keep it in my SPG account for now

Moshe

to chaim,
I don’t think you can tranfer out from ba to lan, so once you put them into ba they’re stuck there, & you could use them whenever you want.

I also wanted to ask dan if there is a possibility to leave israel on ba with points on the morning flight (because to me it looks like you could only leave on the afternoon flight, which means that you’ll always have to stay overnight in london) am I right????

anon

Nwa world perks to tlv costs 90,000 miles Domestic first class round trips cost 50,000 Flying blue to tlv costs 50,000 miles domestic (us) first class is only 40000 miles(!). Has anyone thought of moving nwa miles to flying blue? According to customer service exchange is 1:1…”WorldPerks … If you change your mailing address to Europe, Africa, the Middle East or the Indian Subcontinent, you can no longer retain your WorldPerks membership. Instead, your account should be transferred to KLM’s Flying Blue Program.
When your change of address is received a business reply card confirming your transfer to KLM’s Flying Blue Program will automatically be generated and mailed to you. All you need to do is sign the reply card and return to Northwest to complete the transfer. If you later return to the US you will be able to transfer back again from KLM’s Flying Blue to WorldPerks.”
Advice anyone?

So, Dan, please answer us does it pay to transfer
1. because of the $400 fee, do all airlines have that
2. How is there availability for free flights, are they worse then others, do you have to stay overnight in London
