Spend $50 At Amazon Today On A Citi Credit Card And Get A $10 Off $50 Amazon Coupon

Use the following code at checkout: CITIBNK3

For what it’s worth when Amazon last ran a similar promo you were able to pay with the qualifying card and then go into the order status and change the method of payment to Amazon gift cards. The advantage there is that if you have a Chase Ink Bold, Ink Plus, Ink Cash, or Ink Classic card you can buy gift cards to stores like Amazon at office supply stores and earn 5 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent (or about a 9.5% rebate).  You can also buy Amazon gift cards at a discount at Best Buy to earn over 5 points per dollar this quarter with Chase Freedom or with any AMEX card via the $20 off $200 twitter promo.

-Add $50 or more of eligible products sold by Amazon.com to your Shopping Cart via the “Add to Cart” button on each respective product detail page.
-At checkout, select your Citi credit card as your method of payment. (Citi debit cards are not eligible for promotion.)
-At checkout, enter group promotion code “CITIBNK3” in the “Gift Cards and Promotional Codes” area, and click the “Apply” button. The group promotion code is only good for 24 hours (12:01AM PST to 11:59PM PST on December 3, 2012) or while promotional funds last.
-Place your order.
-By December 18, 2012, Amazon.com will send you an individual promotion code for a $10 discount off your next Amazon.com qualifying purchase with your Citi card at the email address listed on the Amazon.com account used to make your initial qualifying purchase. The individual promotion code will expire at 11:59PM PST on January 14, 2013.

    Dan,

    When you “You can also buy Amazon gift cards at a discount at Best Buy”, you are charged sales tax (8.75%) here in New York, so you actually LOSE money, no?

    @kshahk:
    Not for this promo.

    @Yoily:
    Incorrect. You do not pay sales tax when buying gift cards.
