Here is a map of the states that AT&T serves.
Step 1: Click on “Shop U-Verse.”
Step 2: Click on “Build your own bundle”
Step 3: Click on “AT&T Promotion Cards” and continue. (If you select long-term savings the rebate will be less and a contract will apply)
Step 4: Confirm availability at your address.
Step 5: Select a minimum of the U-Family package, any internet plan, and any phone plan. This waives the $298 activation and installation fee and puts $500 in rebate cards into your cart. The monthly fee when I do this is $126 and none of the services are under any contract.
If you don’t see the $500 in rebate cards be sure to select “AT&T Promotion Cards” from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side.
Step 6: On the same page as step 5 enter the following code to bump the rewards up to $525: EXTRAGIFT
During the checkout process decline the paperless and auto-pay options and it will offer you another $10 if you accept paperless on the final checkout page, bringing the rewards total to $535.

-You must keep your qualifying service for at least 30 days to redeem your rewards, and you must still have that service at the time we process your redemption.

I currently have ATT. I was able to say I recently moved to the address and changed the name to my husbands (different last name). Then I cancelled my old service as of the installation date and will need to mail back the old boxes.

If you already have a wireless plan with AT&T, it’s a much better deal in the long run to just take the $225 offer and use the wireless discount.

I was looking for when you can cancel & still get the cards… It’s under the, “How to redeem your rewards” link in the cart:

Does this not work if TV is unavailable in the area… Dont see a dropdown box.. and when I add anything it shows intallation price and all… there ia a pop up window to chat to learn how to get $300 in rebates.. screen shot ?

For some reason I can only choose the ‘promotion cards’ option if i click on all 3 services (for the $525 promotion) If i choose only phone and internet I am foced into the ‘long term savings’ option. any ideas? thank you very much.

Do they check credit, like applying for a credit card? Then its not a good offer.

I currently have U-verse. When I log in, the system no longer give me this promo. I believe the only way to get it would be to cancel, then signup for it at a friends house; as I will no longer have internet?

How do you know that this will work? According to the ATT customer service rep, I need to cancel my existing U-verse Internet service BEFORE I place the order online, otherwise the new online order will get blocked. How did it work for you? My problem is, it is too late to cancel for tonight since the office is closed, and anyways- I would need to be without internet in the house until they come to install it. Never mind the early termination fee…

@Dan The “order online” promotional rebate decreases to 100 for me (TX), I added to card and have tried multiple combinations but no dice. Here is the writing on their website “Get a $100 promotion card for bundles purchased online at att.com between 11/27/12 and 1/3/13.” I’m guessing they’re using Eastern Time which would mean I missed the “today(11/26) only $200 online promotional rebate)”.

So, after reading about how ATT do HARD credit pull (in some case even MULTIPLE times without user’s consent) even after the rep ensured them it will be just a soft pull for this offer, I’m backing out. The rebate is tempting but seeing that ATT having no problem NOT keeping their words, that rebate may never come. Back to churning cards, eating Vanilla and playing with Bluebird

Ordered this on Cyber Monday 11/26 for $535 Gift Cards. Called now to reconfirm my installation date and they indicate it’s only $300 in Gift Cards! Now working through the multitude of AT&T offices & managers for them to acknowledge their offering. Anyone else have this problem? Make certain you reconfirm those VISA Gift Cards!

I got 3 reward codes and now have $525.
It did take 1 phone call though to the rewards dept as one reward was on the disqualified tab and they had to move it over.

Got my 3 cards today- totalling $525.
FYI, i cancelled my service immediately, but not before i got 2 full bills ($161 +tax=$180 each) and this half month (~$90). So i made $75???
Had to stay home a whole day for the free installation and also, they require me to bring in all the equipment now to a UPS store to ship it back. Besides for the fact i had a credit inquiry hit!
SO not worth it- these companies know what theyre doing when they offer free gift cards…

So, I get a billing address doesn’t match error when I try to add them to Serve or BB. I guess I’ll see if my bank will deposit them directly to my checking acct, buy a VR with them, or buy Amazon credit as a last resort.
