Available as a refurbished model for $90 from Walmart. (I picked one up last month when it was $80).

I bought a Garmin Nuvi like 5 months ago and gave me nothing but trouble. somehow it always looses satellite when i need it most, and to make matters worse in Manhattan it completely loses me.
In my recent summer traveling experience, using my Galaxy s3 phone was much better. Any smart phone use can download an app called Waze. it reroutes you based on traffic and really is a life saver.
Stay away from these outdated GPS’s.

Is it possible to download a map of the Caribbean onto that model gps, or is a specific model required?

I don’t know, I read Garmin Nuvi 1390LMT GPS For Just $114.99 From Amazon! The listing never said new or used, nor did it mention accessories… I couldn’t come close to the $114.99 was I wasting my time! SB
