This is a good basic GPS unit with useful features like spoken street names and lane assist.
It does not have premium features that the Nuvi 1450/1490 have like Canadian maps, lifetime traffic updates, lifetime map updates, and it has a smaller 4.3″ screen instead of a 5″ screen. If you want those features then spend the extra $60 and get them with this deal.

Once you start upgrading a low-end device you may as well go up to the 1350/1450 which has that features and much more.
