Need To Meet A Spending Threshold Deadline? Get Waived Fees On AMEX Gift Cards!

AMEX Gift Cards Linky

For waived card fees use code (Exp: 09/01/12): EMGRADCM

You can use any Visa, MC, or American Express, and the Gift cards are treated as a purchase and will earn miles or points.

Shipping is normally extra, but under the shipping method you can pick the “premium shipping” option for a free trial period of $99/year next-day air free shipping. Just cancel the trial within 3 months and you won’t pay any card fees or shipping fees! You can easily cancel your trial online.
“If you choose to cancel before your 3-month free trial ends, all shipping charges during this period will be waived and you will not be charged the annual enrollment fee.”
You need to login to your AMEX account (or register and login) in order to get the the free trial shipping.

If you need to meet spending thresholds for bonus points (like on cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the Starwood American Express, the American Express Platinum, the American Express Premier Rewards card,. etc.) but don’t have enough stuff to buy right away than this may be for you!

Just buy the amount of Gift Cards you need to get you over the spending threshold bonus and then you’ll be able to use the GC as you need them on your everyday purchases.

There are never any fees for inactivity on the card. If you don’t finish using the GC by the expiration date then AMEX will send you a check for the remaining balance.

Terms and Conditions: “By using the Card you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions in their entirety. Should you wish not to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you must, prior to using the Card, request and obtain a refund of the value of the card by calling 877-297-4438”

    Do you know if you can use AMEX gift cards in Guam? The website says US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rice. However, Guam is also a US possession with a large US military presence. I have been trying to find out more online but no success yet. Anyone know? Or where online I can look to find out? Thanks!

    @elih:
    Regular sapphire can’t transfer points into more valuable miles, only sapphire preferred can do that.

    You can use them to pay bills other than credit card bills…cable, electric often, cell phone, insurance often, medical bills. It is treated as a credit card for the most part. I’ve not come across a credit card company that wants to take payment with another credit card.

    if you call them to cancel the gc’s shortly after you buy them, firstly, will they let you and secondly, will they just refund the cc you bought them with or send you a check?

    Do you need an Amex account to order GCs? I have a Citi American Express but Amex doesn’t let me make an account with that since it’s serviced by Citi. Though I do recall Dan writing in the comments of an earlier post that a Citi Amex is enough.

    Are you sure the expiration date on this is accurate? I got this message:

    “We’re sorry, but the Promotion code you entered is not valid or has expired. Please check to make sure that you entered the correct Code.”
