isn’t 1920×1080 pretty low resolution for a 24″ monitor?

@Joe P:
Umm, no.
1920×1080 is Full HD 1080p resolution. It doesn’t get better than that. Same resolution as top-of-the line 60″ TVs have.

I was under the impression that while it is full HD, that is a small amount of pixels for such a large monitor…

@Joe P:
Nope, you’re under the wrong impression.
Like I said expensive LCD screens of 60″ also have 1920×1080 resolution.

Aha! Thanks for setting me straight. How good of a deal do you think this is?

Hehe Dan,
That’s what I love about your site. I am such an addict now – I must visit like 3-4 times per day (mostly seeking those credit card specials).
Would love to see more ninja tips for Continental discounts.

Back in the days (about 4 years ago) 24″ computer monitors were typically 1280p (1920×1200) but with the proliferation of HDTV’s it’s now (unfortunately) more expensive for manufactures/OEM’s to source 1200p glass so nearly everyone has moved away from it. Your low end 1080P monitor runs about ~$150, your low end 1200P monitor is about $275.

@Mike:
I don’t think you’ll find a 24″ 1080p LED for $150 too often.

@Mike: I would love to see you find me a 24″ like this for $150. This deal is amazing. I bought 3 23″ monitors in the last 6 months and they were all in this price range and that was after serious sale.

Yuck, it’s not 168.99 for me shipped – it’s about 180 since it’s charging me tax.

@Joe P:
Would that stop you if you walked into a store and saw a $168.99 price tag? Those don’t include tax either…

I know a good deal when I see one. This would be a good deal if it was an LCD monitor at this price. Its a VERY Good deal for an LED monitor, and it has a 1 yr exchange warranty. I can find multiple comparable deals for Refurb product, but this is new. Very good deal, indeed!
