The Pixi runs a web os which is completely different then the centro running palm os which is pretty much out of existence, there is a palm os emulator for web os called classic, I never used so don’t know much about it. I will tell you that web os is absolutely brilliant, you will love playing with the cards, allso check out precentral.net to find great hacks including overclocking.

Amazon currently has it for $54.99 from a reseller called Yapper fulfilled by Amazon. There is actually no sales tax in NY for purchases bought by resellers on Amazon that are not based in NY. Free 2 day shipping with Prime.
Webos devices can also be used liked a Ipod Touch. All of the features of the device work great with wifi. I have been using a Palm Pre for over a year with no phone plan. For $55 you will be getting a 8g music player, it stores all of your emails etc. While the Pixi is not as powerfull as the Pre for $55 this is a great way to try out an amazing OS.

I called page plus and they told you are taking a gamble if you buy this phone, because not all of them connect to pagepluess.
