This is good deal. It is a young wine, with character. We did a blind tasting on Purim with this cab and a few up-market wines we got, including Castel Grande Vin. We couldn’t complain about the expensive ones as they seem to try hard to not stand out in any way, but they were not fun to drink like the bennish cab.

These wines are actually really amazing & especially for the unbeatable price,

i really enjoyed the Cabernet & the Zinfandel,
As to the Syrah & the Merlot were also very good,
And surprisingly the dry red wine i thought would just be another so bottle but was actually great,

Been drinking Ben Ish wines for a few years and i must say that it only keeps getting better.
A nice young wine with a lot of flavor and character, not comparable to most other wines in this price range.

Had the Cab wine over Purim. Very interesting flavor. Kept going back for more. A must try especially at that price point. Always love California grapes! Very excited to have more over the Seder!!!! Great great deal thank you Ben ish winery!!!

When we ship this wine outside NYS, its the same cabernet, but we are required to label it as “DRY RED”. These are federal regs.

Got this wine in my shaloch manos this year and was so impressed with the fine quality of the taste and packaging. This wine was a hit at our Purim party and everyone enjohed it!
The price cannot be beat and the taste is fantastic! Enjoy!

for purim i gave several friends and family members a selection of the BenIsh Winery wines and got such positive feedback from them all! I recently tried the Syrah, the Zinfandel and the Cab and they were all smooth, complex and delicious. This is a great deal!

We ordered a very large customized order for Purim and all our recipients were really happy and we got great feed back.

While this wine may be enjoyable to anyone with a basic liking to wine, I do not recognize a single commenter as having a developed palate.

I have enjoyed cheap wines and qpr wines, such as terrenal from trader Joe’s, Tabor Adamah and capcanes peraj petita.

sure many ways at even double or triple in price suck, but I could blindly taste between this and peraj petita and almost the same price.

All the Ben Ish wines I have tasted are consistently good.
The Cabernet in particular is excellent, smooth and dry.
I especially remember a Chilean Cabernet they made a couple of
years ago that was my favorite. Oh and the Zinfandel!!

Dan – Are these bottles corked or plastic cap ? I don’t recall the name of the wine you had a few years ago that did private label but they bottled weren’t corked and the wine disappointed.

These are corked and made from premium California wine grapes and have won several medals. Several years ago we had a New York Cabernet Sauvignon.
Those NY grapes tasted different than other wines.

I only used to drink sweet wine. I couldn’t understand why anyone would drink a dry or even a semi-sweet wine. Al that changed after tasting the Ben Ish Chilean Cabernet 2015. I’ve been a fan since and interestingly, I don’t really enjoy sweet wines anymore. Their wines are a regular on our table and we had a very festive Ben Ish Purim this year. I wish them much Hatzlocho!

I just bought about 40 bottles cause if there are this many comments i must be getting a 2 to 3 hundred dollar bottle for only 14 bucks!! thanks dan you did it again!!

I’ve had this wine. Really great wine.

This wine is exceptional, i tried all of them and they are absolutely fabulous, we gifted them to friends jewish and not jewish and all enjoyed this phenomenal wines.
The taste of dark red fruit in the palate as well as the earthiness is just amazingly balanced and its done the pure state of art like a 50$ bottle from France.
The wines are young but have the capacity to age another 7-10 years and they will really develop maturity and im sure will taste great.
I wish i was able to buy more so i can stock them and be able to see their improvement over the years so i can fully enjoy them when time comes.

@dave: i just bought 2000 bottles gonna sell them at 49.49, if you are stuck with inventory you should empty the bottle and you can sell the bottle for more.
