Also Amazon allows for holiday returns until 01/31/11, so if you do find a better deal you can always return it!

the best mixer ever. have for pesach and for yearround. the 6 quart is the largest and most powerful, get it!
bosch is good for challah,not used as much for baking cakes.

I use my Bosch for challah, cookies, and smoothies amongst other things. It can whip a bottle of cream to a stiff consistency in three minutes flat. It is a lot more powerful than the KA (Bosch has an 800 watt output, KA is 575), but that is not always a good thing. If I had the choice I would get the Bosch together with a decent handheld mixer (so that you make cake without too much air in it).
