Shoprite had (has?) Sylvania 60 Watt LED bulbs for $1.00 each
The color temperature on these is 5000k. The light will have a bluish tinge to it.
Thanks Dan!
I ordered 7 with no issues.
@Mark: Good point. To mimic the light of a standard traditional lightbulb one should look for LED bulbs that have a color temperature of 2700k-3000k
walmart has 4 60w eqivalent led for 97 cents
@Liam K. Nuj:
For typical LED bulbs 3,000k would be the same color as a traditional incandescent. 4,000k will give you a nice white fluorescent look. 5000k will give you an electric blue look. which is great for outdoors and in some cases for a kitchen. I personally find that anything greater than 4,000 just plain gives me a headache.
@ars: 97 cents Is only in New Jersey walmarts
