@chaim If you’re referring to the phone confirmation, the reason is simple. We need to ensure that all those that have access to each forum are of the correct gender. Imagine if you were to go on a date, and want advice from other ShidduchTalk members. Do you think you would feel comfortable talking about your date, if you feel that the boy/girl you dated may be reading your post? Oh, and btw, most registrations take a minute to complete and are confirmed within a few minutes. Let us know if you have any other questions!!

Terrific concept! Just curious – The site doesn’t say anything about Rabbbinic approval. Is there any? If not, is it in the works? Everything seems kosher to me, just asking. Also, why does the site need to know our dating status?
My sister just joined Chabadmatch and there has been a lot of feedback from the site’s Shadchanim. I strongly recommend it to Chabad singles out there.
