This was 299 last year does not come with a stainless steel bowl although I do believe it comes with the dough hook
should i buy the warrantee?

According to my local electronic store, the machine will break if you make challa without the metal bowl, is it overworks the machine. They told me as well, that Bosch is stopping to sell the metal bowls individually…

If you choose to buy the metal bowl, this is no longer a bargain as that is the regular price. It retails for $500
Can’t imagine. These are people that no the product and are very reputable. They did say people make the same mistake every year and pick it up on sale online and come looking for the metal bowl later….

My wife has been using hers with a plastic bowl for 2 years for challah with no issues.

i’ve used the plastic bowl for almost 5 years now for challah with no problems!
Plastic bowl works perfectly for challah. I use it every week.
4 years and still have the plastic bowl…use it every other week.
